Dear Friends,
We are blessed to be a part of the parish family at St. Peter’s. Each of us has received an abundance of gifts from God, and those gifts make us the unique individuals that we are. Every person has a special role to play in God’s kingdom and, as we saw in the Bracewell Room on Rally Day, there are plentiful opportunities to participate in God’s ministry here at St. Peter’s: outreach, worship, evangelism, education, and pastoral care, among others. These ministries are at the heart of our life in Christ, and they only happen because of your contributions of time, talent, and treasure.
With God’s guidance, St. Peter’s has maintained its formation programs and ministries throughout our leadership transition. Together with St. Peter’s Episcopal School, we also replaced a portion of the roof, which had leaked for several years. Perhaps most importantly, we were able to hire Fr. Drew Bunting as Priest-in-Charge. His call was made possible by your generosity and support.
During this season of stewardship, we invite you to reflect on the myriad gifts and blessings that have been bestowed upon us. Take some time and project five years into the future. Where do we as a parish family want to be? Who do we want to serve? What role might you play along the journey?
God has given us so much. We hope you will use this opportunity to pray about the abundant gifts you have been given, and the best ways for you to be a joyful participant in our church’s life in 2025 and in the years to come.
Sincerely,
St. Peter’s Stewardship Committee
