St. Peter's School Sunday
Dear Friends,
One of the great joys of life at St. Peter's is the relationship between our church and school. Our shared ministry is a gift to both, as well as to our wider community, and it will be exciting to celebrate that relationship.
This Sunday we'll combine our 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services into one 10 a.m. service. School students who are also parishioners will read scripture and serve as acolytes, ushers, and greeters. We'll take time to recognize and thank the amazing faculty and staff of the school, including preparing a luncheon for faculty, staff, and their families. I've also invited school families to be part of the service, and our school choir will provide some of the music.
It's going to be a wonderful day, and part of that will include an opportunity for service. Thanks to our Second Grade class partnering with Blood Assurance, St. Peter's will host a Bloodmobile from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday. If you are able to donate blood, please plan some time that morning to do so. This is a great way for our church and school communities to partner in caring for our wider community.
It is going to be a wonderful day, and I hope to see you all there.
God bless,
Fr. Quinn+
