Phase II at St. Peter's
Dear Friends,
The COVID-19 task force has been hard at work over the last month. We have moved forward in creating a plan that will bring us back together in the not-too-distant future. You can see a copy of our Phase II plan HERE. I'd ask you all to take a few minutes and read through it so that you can become familiar with what worship will look like when we are able to return. As that time nears, I'll have additional information for you so that you will be ready for that exciting time. But, here are a few important bullet points from the document:
We are waiting until we see a 2-week trajectory of a reduction of COVID-19 cases in Hamilton County to reconvene.
We plan to keep the same service schedule that we had prior to suspending worship (7:30, 9, and 11).
The services will retain the basic character and feel that they had in times past.
We will only observe Morning Prayer in Phase II. My hope is that we'd return to the Holy Eucharist for Phase III.
We are asking everyone to pre-screen themselves before arriving, and we will require everyone to wear masks during Phase II.
We will continue to offer our online worship at 10 a.m. each Sunday for those who feel unsafe about returning to in-person worship and for those who are members of high-risks groups.
Beyond these bullet points, the document has a lot of information. I'd invite your questions as you have time to look at it. I'm praying that our time to worship together comes very soon. And I continue to pray for all of you.
God Bless,
Quinn+
