About the Rector
Fr. Quinn Parman (you can call him Quinn or Fr. Quinn), has served as Rector of St. Peter's since the summer of 2017. He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida but has made his home in this part of the world for most of the last decade. He loves Chattanooga, the beauty of the Tennessee River and the surrounding mountains, the delicious local flavors (Tremont Tavern being his favorite place to eat), and all the wonderful people.
He is a graduate of the University of North Florida and the University of the South (Sewanee). Prior to his ordination he served as a youth minister in Jacksonville, Florida. His greatest passion is to help people know and follow Jesus.
Fr. Quinn has been married to his wife Rachelle for 18 years. They have two children—Fritz and Mary Karis—and the world's best dogs, Cass and Cota. When he's not around the church, you are likely to find Quinn out for a run on the riverwalk. He loves distance running, just don't ask him about his marathon times! He is a fan of an eclectic range of music styles, having played guitar in a number of bands in high school and college. He also enjoys tacos, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
